Maybelline Fit Me foundation review

I wrote about the L'Oréal foundation and how it didn't work for me. I still don't know what it is. Luckily, my sister and I have the same skin tone. I asked her if she wanted to try it, and she had no issues with it. In return she gave me a foundation she didn't use; the Maybelline Fit Me foundation in 115.

I have the cap somewhere but I couldn't find it.
I like the sleek packaging, it looks pretty expensive for a drugstore foundation and it has no nonsense on the bottle. Looks good. I have the same issue with the pump as with the L'Oréal foundation, the pump is smaller than the bottle meaning that you will get foundation all over the flask if you're not careful.

On to more important things. The formula is very, very thin and runny. At first I was a little bit put off by that. However, it blends perfectly. Coverage is light to medium and easily buildable. It gives a satin/dewy finish. I usually go for foundations with more coverage but I think this one will be perfect for summer. The formula is quite oily though so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with oily skin, it will probably melt off. My skin type is dry/combo and I have no issues with this. I apply it on top of my Smashbox primer, using the Miracle Complexion Sponge. I usually build coverage and I use about 2-3 pumps for my entire face, you could easily use 1-2 pumps for your entire face if you like a lighter coverage though.

I'm very happy my sister wanted to swap foundations with me because I'm very fond of this foundation. I like how natural it looks and it will probably be my go-to foundation for summer.
