Empties March/April 2015

Clementine from MyDarlingClementine always writes these nice short reviews about her empties and I'm super into that concept. With that in mind I started collecting my makeup trash and today I'll write short reviews about them.

Syoss Color Seal Balsam Conditioner

This conditioner is part of the Supreme Selection Revive range. I adore the shampoo of this range because it is sulfrate free and cheap and it works like a charm. I wasn't as impressed with this conditioner. It does the job, it smells nice and it doesn't make my hair heavy or greasy. It's good but nothing special. That's why I gave it a rate of 3/5 sparkling heart emoji's.
Would I repurchase? Maybe. I'm a spoiled brat who lives at home so I usually just use whatever I find in the shower.

NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand

I've already reviewed this one here. It was a nice concealer but it runs out very quickly. This actually is the second one I ran out of. The most frustrating part is that you can't get all of the product out. Again, I found this was a good concealer but nothing special. That's why I rated it 3/5 sparkling heart emoji's.
Would I repurchase? Probably not, as I've just purchased a very interesting concealer palette. More about that soon.

MaxFactor CC Colour Correcting Cream

This is an interesting product. It's marketed as a CC cream, whatever a CC cream is, it's probably not this. I haven't used this as a foundation in years, but it's done good duty as a concealer. The thick consistency is perfect to give some area's some extra coverage. I've never had any issues with this product but I've never really loved it too. I just wanted to finish it because I've had it for years.
I rated it 3.5/5 sparkling heart emoji's because it does a good job even though I'm unsure about the right way of using it. It earned that half a sparkling heart emoji because it has SPF10.
Would I repurchase? No

Calvin Klein Reveal For Men EDT

I received this mini perfume when I ordered the NYX concealer and holy smokes, I love it! Yes it is a men's perfume. I for one don't believe that smells can be gendered and therefore I have no problem with wearing  a 'men's' perfume. To me it just smells like hot men and sweaty nights and I'm all for that. Fragrantica.com describes it as 'Top notes include crystallized ginger, mastic, pear brandy and kiwano (African horned melon). Its heart contains aromas of suede, clary sage and agave nectar. The base includes tonka bean, vetiver, organic Haitian Orpur® and golden amber.' Seriously, it's amazing. Whenever I wore it people complimented me on my perfume. The best thing about it is that it's super long lasting and it wears beautifully. I gave it 5/5 sparling heart emoji's but I would've given it more if I could. Sadly my imaginary rules don't allow that.
Would I repurchase? I definitely want to buy it but I'm just waiting for it to be on sale.

Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Liner Waterproof

This is a classic felt-tip liner. This particular one didn't give the most perfect coverage and I often had to use another black liner to make it more even. I liked the precise tip but I found that the felt tip started shedding after a while, which is something that often happens. The eyeliner was somewhat waterproof but all in all nothing to write home about. It earned 2 stars due to the fact that it's alright for about two weeks after purchasing. After that it all goes downhill very quickly.
Would I repurchase: No.

Rimmel Colour Show Off Red Fever lipstick

This very ragged once pink bullet is one of my favourite lipsticks. It's the perfect true red on me and the finish is matte but not too matte. It's also extremely long lasting, never drying and it doesn't stain. I also rated it high because the packaging is quite sturdy for a drugstore lipstick. The only thing that I dislike, and where it's lost half a sparkling heart emoji is the smell. It has a quite strong rosy smell that I dislike.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely

Urban Decay Primer Potion

This is a darling of the beauty community. Everyone loves their UDPP and that's exactly why I bought it. This large tube has lasted me one and a half year(!) and it's never let me down. When I first used it I was so amazed how much of a difference it made. I'm used to it now but still, I'm nowhere without it. Of course there are many similar primers but I have no complaints about this one so I don't see why I'd switch to another. You only need such a tiny bit so it's not expensive as one tube lasts one and a half year. I also like the squeezy tube for hygenical reasons. I already marked this baby a holy grail before so I couldn't give it less than 5/5 sparkling heart emoji's.
Would I repurchase? I already did five months ago when I thought it was running out.
