My Christmas Gift Guide

Pizza, soda, the moon, someone to share it with. I really don't want a lot this Christmas. But who are we kidding, Christmas is a kapitalist holiday so you have to find things to want. Here's a few.
* Disclaimer: I literally make €0 on this blog so obviously none of these products are sponsored *

I divided my wishlist into three different price ranges. I struggled most with putting cheap things on my wishlist, oops. I guess I'd rather have 2 expensive things than all these stocking filler-type of presents. Anyway, I did manage to find some smaller items that would make nice presents. Obviously there's a lot of makeup on my list, but also other stuff.

I already reviewed one of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams, and I wear my shade almost every day. It's defintely my go-to red and I just can't think of any real complaints about the product. I buy these on eBay, by the way. I also love shopping for things to put in my room! It's probably a really girly thing to say, but I'm really never done decorating. I love all these copper coloured accessoiries that H&M has in their Home departement. Also, I think that pillow case is so cute, I love the "It's OK" print, I have something with that saying if I'm being honest. Other cute items I found in their Home departement was the scented candle and the ceramic mug. I can never get enough of scented candles and the mug would be cute to store my makeup brushes in. Next, there's 2 gift cards: Spotify and iTunes. I've only become a Premium member of Spotify this month and I really love it! My friend makes these awesome playlists and being able to listen to them all the time has improved my life with at least 63%. However, I do think that the membership is a bit expensive because I don't listen to music that much (my iPhone is literally always out of battery) The iTunes card is always a good call to go HAM in the app store or to get yourself the new Justin Bieber album (can we talk about that?). I don't think gift cards are lousy gifts, but some people do so beware of that.
This Milani Blush in Luminoso also would be a great gift for me, because I've wanted it for ages, but also because it's very universally flattering. Jewellery is always a good gift. These 70s hoops are from Asos so they're cheap but you can find something nice at any price point. I really like these hoops because a) they're hoops and that's kind of my thing and b) they're quite on trend at the moment. Lastly, I put Lush Ultrabland on my list because I've always wanted to try that one because I've heard so many great things about it.

In the middle priced segment my true colours really show. I do like makeup, I can't help it! I also hardly ever buy myself products so these moments are great opportunities to expand your collection. First I put The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer on the list because everyone seems to agree that it's the best highlighter in the world. Next there's two eyeshadow palettes; the Zoeva Cocoa Blend 1.0 and the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic. Both look like great palettes and get great reviews. It depends on what your needs are with this one, I'd prefer the Cocoa Blend at this point because I'm planning on getting Vice 4 by Urban Decay as soon as it releases here (WHICH IS IN JANUARY CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT) and that one also has a lot of bright and shimmery colours. Morphe brushes just came out of nowhere this year, didn't they? They do get raving reviews on their brushes so I'd love to try this 6 Piece Deluxe Contour Set. The Body Shop is, just like Lush, a great place to get presents. This Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil looks amazing and I'm on the market for a good serum. This year I started dressing more like an adult, so that meant throwing out so many shiny items and replacing them with normal things. There's still a little part of me that loves shiny things, and this Monki bag would be great on nights out. I also have a never ending list of MAC Lipsticks that I want. I don't really get why everyone is so obsessed with MAC because most of their products are not better than average, but I'm a big fan of their lipsticks. Currently I really want Russian Red and Velvet Teddy. The both of these are pretty much cult classics, so you can get them for anyone! A less conventional lip colour is this Liquid Lipstick by LA Splash. This one is Guadalupe from the Dia de Los Muertos collection and oh my!! I have never seen a colour like this! I can't stop looking at it!

I feel so ashamed putting so many expensive items on my list, but have you ever read the GOOP gift guide? The most expensive item on this list are these beautiful Cortez trainers by Nike. I really can't decide if I want them in black or bronze (ideally both, obviously). Last year I got a bottle of Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent and I'm running out at this point. It's such a great and sexy fragrance. I've always loved Nigella and I own almost all of her books, I think, so her next book, Simply Nigella, is a must-have for me. Another great and pretty original gift is this jewellery box from Urban Outfitters. I don't think anyone would ever buy themselves this expensive box, but it's pretty and you can store all your jewellery in there so that's useful. I've loved Womanity by Thierry Mugler for years, but I've never owned a bottle. Such a sexy fragrance as well and it's very wintery. The final item on my list is this watch by Sekonda. I don't own a watch and I feel like I should. I'm never on time, my iPhone is always out of battery and it's stylish!

What's on your Christmas lists?
